Lip Augmentation

Dr. Karsan performs permanent lip augmentation surgery, as well as temporary augmentation, for patients looking to enhance the size of thin lips, increase lip definition, restore fullness, remove wrinkles, or correct an elongated or lengthened upper lip.
As we age, the vertical height of the red lip thins and the arch of the lip line flattens. Permanent lip augmentation is achieved with permanent injectable fillers. Whereas temporary augmentation is performed with hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Restylane® and Juvederm.
Wrinkled lips can also be treated with injectable fillers. A long white upper lip can be treated with a surgical subnasal lip lift in which the white lip is reduced and the visible red upper lip is elongated. The results of lip enhancement are luscious more youthful lips.
Lip Reduction
Reduce the size of full lips to improve the balance of your facial features with lip reduction surgery. Depending on where the fullness is, upper or lower lip, Dr. Karsan will remove a small portion of the inner lip, thus reducing the height of the red lip. The results of lip reduction provide a more balanced and harmonious appearance with the rest of the face.
