Brow Lift and Forehead Lift Surgery

Reverse the signs of aging around the eyes by elevating the brow to its original, youthful position with a brow lift or forehead lift surgery. As we age, the eyebrows starts to descend, giving a heavy appearance to the upper eyelids and making the eyes appear smaller and at times giving a person a sad expression. Repetitive frowning causes deep lines between the eyebrows, and can give the impression of anger. These signs of aging can be corrected with a forehead lift, which can be done in a variety of ways depending on each individual's anatomy.

Forehead lifts allow patients to receive the results they want in the upper face. The furrows between the brows are greatly reduced, giving the face a happier, more relaxed appearance. Brow lift surgery can also be performed in conjunction with eyelid surgery and facelift for additional enhancement of the forehead area.

Upper and Lower Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Reduce the appearance of sagging upper and lowers lids or bags and puffiness around the eyes, with cosmetic blepharoplasty. As the most delicate part of the face, the skin around the eyes is extremely vulnerable to the effects of aging. The upper eyelid surgery removes the excess skin in the upper eyelid and if necessary fat is removed to decrease the fullness, giving a less tired, relaxed appearance to the eye.

Lower eyelid surgery can be approached from behind the eyelid or in front of the eyelid. Fat can be removed or repositioned to smooth out the fullness of the lower eyelid to give a more youthful and restful appearance. After cosmetic blepharoplasty, patients' eyes appear more refreshed and rested. The skin around the eyes becomes smooth and youthful, dramatically transforming an aging appearance to a refreshed appearance.

Botox® Injection

Patients interested in non-surgical solutions for reducing the depth of eye wrinkles can consider Botox® injections. The deep creases and wrinkles on the face are a result of frequent muscle contractions that eventually create a wrinkled appearance between the brows, on the forehead and around the eyes. Botox® is a purified protein used in small doses to weaken and relax the muscles of frowning, squinting, forehead elevation and nasal crunch lines. Among other uses, Botox® injections can be used to reshape the eyebrows, lift the eyebrows, or complement forehead and eyelid surgery.

Restylane® & Juvéderm® Injectable Fillers

Smooth out wrinkles and restore the diminished volume to skin around the eyes with injectable facial fillers. Restylane® and Juvéderm® are made of hyaluronic acid, a natural sugar, and can be used around the eyes to give an eyebrow lift and fill depressions in the lower eyelid to give a more rested appearance.
